My Mom #36 – 2007 – Marjorie Windecker – Collection
Every time I finish a painting I rush over to my mother’s house to share it with her. She is my biggest fan. She said one day, “You should try to make a painting with black and white.” My paintings are so colorful that she probably wanted color relief. Thus, her portrait in black, white and gray, except the ruby red lipstick. Armed with a tube of the ruby red, Mom is the kind of gal that has to put lipstick on several times a day or she is not fully dressed for the world. Also, due to her wisdom her thoughts are not yellow, but gold.
